- On the roadside in the yard is a stone pillar. Inside the pillar are the water supply, a tap with a counter and the power supply. The water quality is good and can be used for consumption. The pillar is outside and there is no heating option. Last winter the meter froze and blocked the water supply
- Data provided to the municipality for the payments of water connection and consumption
- 3 temporary doors installed
- Openings in the facade closed with plastic and mesh in a wooden frame
- Rooms on the middle floor set up for living and cooking
Juli 2022
- Constructed the floors and ceilings in 2 basement sections together 50m2 surface, can now use these spaces for the storage of building material and household goods
- In the third basement compartment I will install the sewer pipes, therefore no floor and ceiling finishing there yet
- Bedroom 1 wall and ceiling ready
August 2022
- Received new land registry information due to changes in the sale, a centuries-old lease arrangement applied and it was deleted at the seller’s expense
- The yard is 4125 m2 in size instead of 4200 agent assignment
- According to land registry divided into: 2682 m2 orchard, 443 m2 of meadow, 999 m2 of olive grove and 660 m2 reserved for buildings
- CILA (=communication to carry out work, type of building permit light) applied for and obtained from the municipality of Corvara
- CILA makes an electricity connection possible
- Signed a contract with Enel for electricity concluded and connection is activated on 12-8
- Plugged in an extension cord from connection outside to inside
- Connected the water supply using a garden hose
- Electric boiler bought and installed, bad luck: the boiler didn’t work, servicing by the manufacturer would take 2 months because of the holiday shutdown. decided to buy a 2nd one

September 2022
- All the work regarding water supply and plumbing is provisionally and constructed in a way that it can easily be removed. In the future I will need a qualified contractor as required by the local regulations
- Mixer tap for countertop installed
- Walls made for shower cabin and shower set installed
- Electric boiler installed and water connected with garden hose
- Fridge picked up and placed
- Hot/cold water tap installed above the counter, water pipe laid inside
- Drain goes through the floor to the basement and then into the garden, I am using biodegradable detergent for the washing machine and dishes
- Shutters made and mounted for the 3 windows you can access from the outside without needing a ladder
- Wood stove placed, the nights are already getting a bit colder 13-15 degrees Celsius
Oktober 2022
- Bought Okoume timber for facade windows upstairs
- Hatch made in the staircase to be able to retain heat on the 1st living floor where the wood stove is burning
- 1st bedroom all secondary inside walls and the ceiling are finished, moldings carved and painted. The secondary walls and ceiling have a wooden frame filled with 5cm thick solid insulation, covered with vapor barrier foil and wood panels
- Lighting laid out in the 1st bedroom
- Insulated floor laid in bedroom 1, provisionally
- Electric heating hung and door placed in the room on the 1st floor that I now use as a bedroom, to keep the heat there
- Decided to make the window frames in the facade according to dimensions drawing about 110×140 cm (WxH)
- Holes in the facade bedrooms made smaller with masonry for the new dimensioning
- Made 4 window frames, 2x window bedroom, front door and staircase window
- 3 window frames placed and frames bricked. The bricks are sticking out by 10 cm. The plan is to mount 8 cm XPS foam insulation on the outside wall finished with plaster.

- Moved upstairs into bedroom 1
- Build interior walls at the front side of bedroom 2
- Bought timber for the remaining window frames
- Profiles planed and sawn for all remaining window frames
- Build the remaining inside wall in bedroom 2
- Used Black Friday Sale and purchased an oven Miele H 7364 BP
